Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Operate blow-mold, PET, and injection molding machines to produce quality bottles while troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, safety policies, and company standards by wearing correct PPE, keeping work areas clean, and conducting bottle inspections, drop tests, and quality audits. Monitor supply levels, replenish packaging materials, and adjust machines to meet product specifications. Perform daily production reporting, document equipment repairs, and escalate bottle abnormalities immediately. Work 8-hour second shift with possible mandatory overtime, completing required Altium Production training within 90 days of hire.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire date

  • Willingness to make adjustments to meet product specifications
  • Willingness to troubleshoot and perform minor repair on blow-mold and support equipment
  • Willingness to immediately escalate all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues when found
  • Willingness to monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed
  • Willingness to ensure correct labeling, bottle description and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements
  • Willingness to move finished goods to designated area
  • Willingness to prepare & document daily production reports
  • Willingness to prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs
  • Willingness to receive instructions on specific job task by Lead Operator or Supervisor
  • Willingness to apply sound professional judgment
  • Willingness to perform reasonable mandatory overtime due to business needs
