Job Summary
Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures, monitoring performance and making adjustments as necessary. Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspect finished products for quality, and troubleshoot issues that arise during production. Maintain inventory of raw materials and notify the supervisor when supplies need replenishment while following safety protocols to keep the work area clean and organized. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience operating plastic molding machines preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment
- Mechanical training/aptitude and technical training on packaging, plastics and printing equipment
