Job Summary
Machine Operator 2 operates manufacturing processes, performs preventive maintenance, inspects materials and equipment, uses hand tools, reads tape measures, operates forklift and overhead crane after certification, maintains safety and OSHA compliance, may assist with inventory and ERP data, and supports inventory control. Duties include quality/safety inspections, keeping a clean workspace, following safety policies, and adapting to OT and weekend work when needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and experience with basic tools; forklift/overhead crane certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
- Requires experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
- Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
- Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed
