Job Summary
Machine Operator for 1st Shift at Martin Sprocket & Gear. Operate lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines per process sheets, blueprints, or supervisor directions. Install fixtures, align dies and fixtures, and monitor production to meet quality standards using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and use a crane or buddy system for moving heavy parts. Perform inspections, document measurements, and assist in other areas as needed. Must read and comprehend instructions in English, lift and maneuver heavy items, work a full-day shift (7:45 AM – 4:30 PM), and collaborate with supervisors and teammates to optimize production while maintaining accuracy and reliability.
