Operate levers in the tubular manufacturing group, reading blueprints and using digital length gauges to fabricate component parts. Monitor production while maintaining safety standards and ensuring high-quality output through metric-based math skills. This role requires basic mechanical measuring equipment proficiency and detail orientation for a 1st shift position in Birmingham, Alabama. Required Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to use and understand basic mechanical measuring equipment
- Understanding of fabrication of component parts
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to read and understand digital length gauge
- Basic math skills with an understanding of the metric system
- Understanding of the importance of working safely at all times
- Detail orientated to ensure high quality products for our customers
- Available for shift work
