Job Summary
Set up and operate heavy machinery, including CNC presses, lasers, and rolling mills, to perform cutting, punching, forming, and processing operations. Interpret blueprints and specifications to select raw materials, then inspect parts visually for defects and mark order numbers as required. Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and provide cost-saving suggestions to improve productivity. Utilize scanning equipment and maintain continuous improvement practices in the work area while adhering to all safety rules. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM at our facility in Horseshoe Beach, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience - understands and competent in all aspects of safe & efficient operation
- Detail and Quality Oriented
- Verifiable Dependability and Energetic
- Good Communication Skills
- Basic Computer Skills (Email, Internet, Excel, Word)
- Requires experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
- Able to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Willing/able to work overtime
- Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
