Job Summary
Operate and maintain a minimum of two forming presses and two packaging lines; troubleshoot mechanical issues during operation of forming and packaging equipment; load and install raw materials for forming and packaging machines; report daily machine settings and line issues; assist with CILs (Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate) daily to identify and correct mechanical defects; keep tools organized and maintain a clean, safe work environment; communicate effectively with Packers to ensure smooth line operation and minimal waste; assist Packers with packing duties when required; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of manufacturing experience in a similar role
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Understanding of machine safety practices, including lockout/tagout and hand tool safety
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace
