Job Summary
Operate, maintain and troubleshoot production line equipment at the Atlanta-Main facility on 12-hour shifts (2-2-3), using automated packaging equipment to manufacture Home Care and Laundry products. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, performing changeovers, repairing equipment malfunctions, identifying and solving quality problems to meet established standards, maintaining inventory of supplies, assisting with improvements and equipment installations with engineering, and adhering to OSHA and Clorox safety standards. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of machine operation experience in manufacturing (3+ years highly preferred); mechanical/technical skills and ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Position is on-site in Forest Park, GA with shift differential where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years experience as a machine operator in manufacturing (3+ yrs highly preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment
- Mechanical technical skills (highly preferred)
- Knowledge of packaging equipment and processes, SOPs, GMPs, 5S, WCM
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
