Job Summary
Operate and troubleshoot a 75 ft long machine, assisting with equipment setup, adjustment, changeovers, and basic mechanical repairs. Test quality and process finished product while maintaining safety standards in a hot climate environment. Perform tasks requiring overhead reach up to 84 inches, including climbing ladders and operating scissor and articulating lifts. Work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including weekends and holidays, while continuously walking, standing, stooping, and kneeling.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to maintain a work schedule of 12.25 hour (rotating 2-2-3) shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime
- Ability to constantly walk and stand for 12 hr shifts
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
- Must have an overhead reach of at least 84" while standing flat-footed
- Comfortable with heights up to 50 ft. and operating scissor and articulating lifts
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting, adjusting and basic machine repairs
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to reach 84 inches high
- Must be able to work 12 hours on a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on)
- you get every other weekend off
- Must be very comfortable working in hot climate environment
