Job Summary
Operate production equipment to produce products in accordance with quality and output requirements following verbal and written instructions. Complete equipment adjustments and tooling changes to maintain compliance with specifications. Inspect parts, document findings on appropriate paperwork, and record material usage times. Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner while adhering to safety regulations and notifying management of discrepancies or malfunctions. Requires forklift qualification, ability to lift 50 pounds, and standing for long periods. General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems empowers the U.S. military with munitions and weapon systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Operate various production equipment with proper training and instruction
- Use standard measurement equipment
- Qualify for and operate a forklift
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand for longs periods of time
- Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
Desired Qualifications
- Metal-Craft Manufacturing environment experience preferred
