Job Summary
Machine Operator 1 on Weekend Day Shift at Pratt & Whitney in Asheville, NC. Responsible for operating a variety of production machines, training on the job to become proficient and certified in multiple auxiliary equipment groups (e.g., Bake/Grit; PHT; Pinhole Check; Surface Roughness Analyzer), performing routine production tasks, producing blades and/or vanes, and conducting quality checks. Must adhere to standard work instructions, clock labor in Solumina, perform TPM and daily maintenance, keep the work area clean (5S), and may be assigned additional duties to support department objectives. Shift is Friday–Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. Requires HS Diploma/GED and US citizenship; prior manufacturing experience or related education needed. Onsite role with full benefits and formal training opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Previous Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification
