Job Summary
Perform basic operational tasks under high supervision, including packaging kits, cleaning functions, and conducting simple in-process quality checks. Handle machine operations such as pulling raw materials, feeding materials into production lines, and clearing common machine faults. Execute limited set-up, start-up, shut-down, and adjustments while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and housekeeping policies. Complete routine paperwork and adhere to safety standards. Requires at least one year of manufacturing experience, ability to stand for long periods, and lift up to 40 lbs. This role supports BD's mission to advance global health through the manufacturing of billions of MedTech products annually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Basic teamwork and communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform semi-routine assignments with supervision
- Proficiency in reading
- Proficiency in writing
- Proficiency in following diagrams
- Proficiency in performing basic arithmetic
- Minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week
- Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19
