Job Summary
Reviews production schedules and procedures to operate and control automated equipment and peripheral hardware. Performs setup functions including loading components, raw cards, feeders, and chemicals, followed by sequential start-up and shutdown with cleaning. Monitors equipment operation, initiates adjustments to maintain control limits, and inspects quality levels to address substandard workmanship. Tracks shelf-life usage for perishable chemicals and moisture-sensitive parts, records data for statistical process control, and performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- 6-12 months of machine operation experience
- completion of company training
- Able to read complex instructions
- clearly share information with teammates and supervisors
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings/blueprints
- using measurement tools like calipers and protractors
- Ability to perform basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for weight and distance measurements
- Use independent judgment to solve practical problems
