• •Must be able to work day shift cover nights when required
• •Must be able to cover as part of the line when applicable
• •Must maintain efficiency of 95% on average
• •Must follow instructions given to them by Engineer or Manager
• •Must ensure that start up and finish up are completed to required standard
• •Must ensure that the downtime information is accurate at all times
• •Must adhere of specified quality standards - carton, bale & pallet quality
• •Must maintain Good housekeeping, hygiene, safety & systems in the area
• •Must understand the implementation and adherence of H&S standards & procedures
• •Must be able to communicate with all team members (including other departments)
• •Must be able to communicate with other groups - engineering, production and management
• •Must be able to communicate with engineers
• •Must be able to report to manager/supervisor/team leaders/ engineer on performance of area and problems & actions required
• •Must be able to document reports regarding the machines
• •Must be able to calculate and document reports - KPIs and downtime
• •Must be able to organize equipment for set-up and changeover of machines
• •Must be able to check tooling and machine equipment
• •Must be able to train staff in basic running of line and changeovers
• •Must be able to assist with achieving targets and standards in area
• •Must be able to develop area to improve performance
• •Must be able to complete work report on daily basis for department manager
• •Must be able to use thinking skills to analyse, decide, prioritise and plan
• •Must be able to balance short term requirements with long term objectives to achieve goals
