Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair in-house woodworking machinery including sanders, saws, routers, and CNC equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and execute machine moves using blueprints and diagrams. Properly perform lockout-tagout procedures, interpret schematic drawings, and write detailed maintenance reports. Disassemble and assemble machinery such as band saws and drill presses while identifying replacement parts from manufacturer documentation. Install pneumatic, hydraulic, and dust collection components and assist in electrical repairs under supervision. Travel to the Tecate factory as needed for maintenance activities. Work the night shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience as, equipment maintenance mechanic, facilities maintenance technician or metal fabricator
- Experience operating/programming CNC machining with various materials such metals, plastics and wood
- Experience in troubleshooting different types of controls such as open-closed-loop drive systems, variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers
- Experience working in robotic integrations, welding (MIG and TIG), soldering and bracing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Possess or qualify to obtain international passport
- Fork lift and scissor lift operation certificate
- Ability to participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team
- Night Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

- The combination of two years of education and three years of experience in the above mentioned fields
