Machine Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
The Machine Maintenance Technician will coordinate safety, maintenance, and equipment needs for the facility, perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently, and support service personnel (lift operators, truck drivers, welders) in adhering to procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, overhauling or replacing defective parts; performing preventive maintenance checks and inspections; greasing, oiling, and replacing filters, belts, and other components; and assisting with troubleshooting. Must have hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, NEC code knowledge, PLC programming, machining and welding skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- 1-3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical Wiring and NEC code
- PLC programming
- Machining and welding knowledge
- Geometric and precision measuring tools
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
