Machine Maintenance Technician (7PM-7AM)

Job Summary
Set up and operate converting bag machines while adjusting, repairing, and maintaining equipment to ensure complex tasks are completed with assistance. Train operators on minor to mid adjustments and repairs, read work orders for material and quality specifications, and perform periodic inspections to meet product standards. Provide feedback to supervisors on machine upkeep, set print and gauge printers, and enforce safety policies through coaching and delegation. Work independently in a fast-paced environment, troubleshooting issues and lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires prior machine maintenance experience and ability to work 12-hour 7PM-7AM shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation, including weekends and holidays. Required Qualifications
- Prior machine maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Physically capable of standing, bending, walking, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Flexible team player willing to assist with additional tasks
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays
- Schedule flexibility to meet the requirement of training for all night shift employees being done on the day shift
