Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, clean machinery, and assist production as required. Test and observe equipment using voltmeters and other tools to diagnose malfunctions, while following safety rules to maintain a clean work environment. Record all maintenance services and materials used, study manufacturer manuals and blueprints, and perform general care for machinery and buildings. This role requires basic electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and proficiency in machine safety inspections within a manufacturing environment. Normal hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday, with pay based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Electronic and hydraulic troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds without assistance
- Strong verbal communication skills
- 40 hr./week with some overtime and weekends if required
- Required to work without supervision
