Job Summary
Develop, build, and support large-scale forecasting systems and models to inform business growth; design batch prediction infrastructure with high accuracy, explainability, and quantified uncertainty; model long-term user outcomes; collaborate with data science and product partners to measure ecosystem health and inform roadmaps; lead projects from conception to delivery and communicate strategic findings to stakeholders; align model development with data engineering and platform teams for robust, scalable deployment in a senior data-science role.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience in prototyping and building scalable machine learning solutions
- Experience building scalable ETL data and ML pipelines with complex upstream dependencies
- Experience with time series modeling (foundational models and transformer-based frameworks)
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, or related field
- Ability to lead project areas from scratch and break requirements into iterative deliverables
- Strong communication skills to connect model outputs to company-level strategy
- Experience collaborating with data engineering and data platform teams to ensure reliable model development, reporting, and monitoring
