Job Summary
Lead end-to-end ML NLP GenAI initiatives as a VP within JPMorgan Chase's Machine Learning Center of Excellence. Own the full lifecycle from ideation to production, and act as a leading voice on Generative AI. Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Business, Technology, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Strategy, Business Management) to identify, design, and deploy machine learning solutions at scale. Drive firm-wide initiatives by developing large-scale frameworks to accelerate application of ML models across the business. Requires PhD (or MS with 3+ years) and hands-on GenAI, with proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, and Pandas; strong experimentation design, metrics evaluation, and excellent communication. Location: Seattle, WA.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Optimization, or Data Science, or MS with at least 3 years of industry or research experience in the field
- Solid background in Generative AI (GenAI) and hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning toolkits (TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas)
- Ability to design experiments and training frameworks and to evaluate metrics for model performance aligned with business goals
- Scientific thinking and ability to work independently and in collaborative teams
- Strong written and spoken communication to convey technical concepts to technical and business audiences
