Job Summary
Explore solutions to interesting problems in domains including language models, neural networks, and classical machine learning. Collaborate with software engineers to test and implement research outcomes while operating as an independent researcher or within team collaborations. Implement machine learning models into the wider software stack, producing optimized solutions for latency and memory on edge devices. Work with software development and security analysis teams to contribute to the distinctive cyber defence methodology. This hybrid role requires two days of compulsory attendance at the Cambridge office.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or master's degree in machine learning or a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience with Python machine learning libraries (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Experience with a variety of machine learning techniques
- Ability to operate autonomously and take independent decisions
- Compulsory attendance of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Linux and Git
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and common threats
