Job Summary
Develop and improve AI/ML solutions by working with machine learning models, datasets, and experimentation pipelines. Support the implementation and testing of Generative AI and LLM-based features while participating in data preprocessing, model evaluation, and optimization activities. Collaborate with engineers to integrate AI capabilities into products, contribute to research and prototyping, and write clean, maintainable, well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities to continuously learn modern AI technologies and software engineering best practices. This full-time remote internship at Sigma Software is ideal for candidates with personal or academic AI/ML projects eager to build a professional career in machine learning.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and core AI concepts
- Basic understanding of Large Language Models and Generative AI
- Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or another Machine Learning framework through coursework or personal projects
- Familiarity with Git and basic knowledge of Docker
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Experience with personal, academic, or pet projects in AI/ML
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Eagerness to learn modern AI technologies and software engineering best practices
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
