Job Summary
Machine Learning Engineer at WireScreen to help build and scale ML infrastructure for entity resolution and knowledge graph initiatives across China-focused data. You will fine-tune clustering-type ML models, expand the knowledge graph with alternative data, train and deploy models operating on tens of millions of records daily, and collaborate with product, research, and engineering to define evaluation harnesses and integrate agent workflows into internal tools. The role requires strong Python and SQL skills and experience deploying end-to-end ML models, with exposure to knowledge graphs, entity resolution, NLP, embeddings, and related ML techniques. Hybrid work expectation with NYC-based collaboration and remote capabilities is supported.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience working on clustering-type ML problems, ideally in the domain of knowledge graphs / entity resolution
- End-to-end machine learning model experience in production; demonstrated ability to take a model from experimentation through deployment and beyond
- Significant experience with Python programming and SQL
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Frontier/SOTA models and/or fine-tuning your own LLMs for specific tasks
- Working on problems across large, heterogeneous, messy unstructured datasets and/or with semantic search, computer vision (especially OCR), or linear optimization problems
- Experience with any of the following technologies: PySpark, Temporal, FastAPI, Scikit-learn, NumPy, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes
- Early-stage startup experience (Series B or earlier)
