Job Summary
Develop ML and geometric algorithms to solve 3D spatial reasoning problems; apply ML techniques to build multi-modal sensor fusion architectures and spatial-temporal representation learners for object detection and tracking, occupancy and semantic segmentation, and road understanding; develop scalable recipes for large data and model training on Alphabet’s compute infrastructure, and create methods for distributed fine-tuning to allow multiple developers to improve models; maintain model evaluation recipes and metrics to measure and improve performance of pre-trained and fine-tuned models. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline and at least 3+ years of ML/CV experience; proficiency with Python and C++, and familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow. Preferred: MS or PhD in ML, Robotics, CS, or related field. The role is based in Kirkland, Washington, with full-time employment and a comprehensive benefits package; salary range $175,000–$215,000 USD, depending on location and qualifications.
