Job Summary
Machine Learning Engineer (Middle+/Senior) to strengthen Group-IB’s Fraud Protection team. The role focuses on analyzing banking transactions to detect and prevent fraud, with emphasis on graph-based transactional analysis and building GraphRAG components for AI-driven agents. Responsibilities include formalizing fraud scenarios (AML-focused), researching and applying ML models for fraud and anomaly detection, building production-grade Python-based ML systems (with Go as a plus), integrating models into the Fraud Protection platform, and documenting findings. Requirements include solid transactional data analysis, knowledge of CNNs/RNNs and graph ML, hands-on PyTorch or Keras/TensorFlow experience, ETL pipeline design, a research-oriented mindset, strong documentation/presentation skills, and experience with MLOps and asynchronous Python code.
Required Qualifications
- Have a solid foundation in transactional data analysis
- Understand neural networks (CNNs, RNNs, etc.) and graph ML
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch or Keras/TensorFlow
- Proficient in IDE-based and terminal-based development
- Experience designing and building ETL pipelines
- Research-oriented mindset and experimentation
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Experience with MLOps practices
- Experience writing production-ready asynchronous Python code
