As a dual-role Machine Insertion and Bindery Specialist, you will manage machine insertion and bindery operations, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety protocols while maintaining equipment. This dynamic role requires collaborative teamwork to meet production goals and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of work-related experience in mailing, production, or a related field preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, especially in machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Proactive, accountable, and able to demonstrate a sense of urgency in daily tasks.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a machine insertion operator, bindery operator, or similar role in a production or print environment.
- Hands-on experience with setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining insertion or bindery machinery.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and keeping equipment clean and well-adjusted for optimal performance.
- Ability to read and follow job tickets and work orders with attention to detail.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production setting.
