Job Summary
Operate machinery and work alongside the crew to create corrugated products from raw paper to finished boxes for local, national, and global customers. Maintain a clean, organized work area while maximizing piece-rate speed on assigned tasks and adhering to the Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am shift schedule with overtime. Read and follow supervisor instructions, complete production, safety, and quality reports, and turn in equipment work orders for repairs. Switch duties with the First Helper as necessary and comply with all safety policies and procedures. Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds while performing duties in a moving mechanical environment with varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Six months or more of work experience in a manufacturing operation
- Prior work around manufacturing machinery
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read a tape measure
Desired Qualifications
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred
