Job Summary
The Machine Field Technician IV is responsible for delivering high-quality repair services on equipment, ensuring timely customer response. Key responsibilities include completing assigned jobs efficiently, adhering to safety policies, diagnosing and troubleshooting machine problems, and providing accurate quotes for repairs. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, extensive related experience, and proficiency with various software and tools. This role requires a clean driving record, CDL acquisition within 90 days, and the ability to work flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Five to eight years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals
- Five years of database and project management experience
- Knowledge of Database software, Internet software, Manufacturing software and Order processing systems
- Clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL within 90 days of hire
- General knowledge of engines, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components
- Mastery level knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments
- Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work, required overtime and on call
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 to be assigned and operate field vehicle
- May be required to complete DOT physical
- Position considered a safety sensitive position
