Machine Field Tech III (Rotational)

Job Summary
Rotational Machine Field Technician III responsible for providing high quality repair service on equipment, diagnosing problems, and maintaining customer value. Will complete jobs to meet flat rate times, document work orders and access databases, remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, test and adjust assemblies, and mentor team members. Must travel to designated work locations for 14-day work rotations and lodge at the assignment site; requires CDL within 90 days and the ability to obtain required tooling. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, precise quotes, and adherence to safety and procedural standards, with flexible schedules and field duties including crane and rigging operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or five to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to obtain or currently possess adequate tooling
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and write routine reports and correspondence
- Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Manufacturing software and Order processing systems
- Clean driving record and ability to obtain CDL within 90 days of hire for field assignment, must be at least 21 years old to be assigned and operate field vehicle
- May be required to complete a DOT physical
- Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work, required overtime and on call
- Must be certified in air-conditioning
- Successfully complete Work Steps assessment
