Job Summary
Wire panels and machines from the ground up, performing electrical assembly on standard and custom-designed units. Bring machines to life by conducting start-ups, debugging issues, and assisting with customer run-offs. Collaborate with senior machine builders and cross-functional teams on new builds and corrective actions while providing feedback to Engineering to eliminate defects. Maintain quality standards and ensure safe operations in a hands-on shop environment. Requires 2–4 years of machine wiring experience, proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and comfort with noise and temperature swings. Schedule includes Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, with regular overtime and weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of machine wiring or machine servicing experience
- Comfortable reading mechanical assembly and controls drawings
- Solid grasp of mechanical and electrical machine operations, with basic troubleshooting chops
- Familiarity with Word, Excel, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Project
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 75 lbs
- Regular overtime and frequent weekend work required
- Travel is primarily local, with occasional out-of-area or overnight trips
Desired Qualifications
- Bonus points if you've got experience with mechanical assembly, hydraulic/pneumatic plumbing, or wire routing and termination
