Job Summary
Assemble, debug, and install entire machines and systems to meet customer specifications, organizing and executing all phases of construction from drawings and verbal instructions. Adjust cam timing and rotary positions, fabricate critical components, and collaborate with electrical personnel to resolve programming issues. Provide guidance to junior builders while maintaining a clean, safe environment that adheres to OSHA and ISO standards. Complete commissioning documentation, interact with customers, and travel domestically and internationally to service sites. Maintain tools and equipment, follow detailed work instructions, and recommend improvements to support organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or trade school certification
- 1–2 years of related experience, including basic machine assembly
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Sponsorship for work visas is not available
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods
- Visual acuity to read instructions and computer screens
- Hearing ability to comprehend verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman toolmaker or equivalent skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with tools and equipment such as: Inspection and measurement tools (e.g., Vernier, calipers, scales)
- Familiarity with tools and equipment such as: Hand tools (e.g., wrenches, pliers, power drills)
- Familiarity with tools and equipment such as: Machinery (e.g., milling machines, surface grinders, lathes)
