Machine Assistant Operator

Assist the operator in setup and running of flatbed die cutting machines, focusing on time-saving practices to limit downtime. Mount die boards, ensure quality product release, and read production order copies for every run. Conduct in-depth cleaning of presses, collect dunnage to expedite converting, and pack products for shipment. Limit scrap waste, deliver waste to the proper department, and accurately tag for reporting. Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and complete production paperwork per CTI/HRMS processes. Run the machine during operator unavailability and work overtime as production needs require. Maintain safety compliance, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
