Job Summary
Operate, monitor, and maintain vinyl pressing machines while ensuring consistent production quality and independently diagnosing technical issues. Perform regular inspections, adjustments, and repairs on steam, cooling water, and electricity-driven systems; document all production and maintenance activities while strictly complying with safety standards. This role requires vocational training in mechatronics or a comparable technical field, solid understanding of complex machinery, and hands-on experience with production equipment. You will work a flexible 40-hour week from 06:00 to 22:00 in a growing Berlin plant dedicated to high-quality vinyl craftsmanship.
Required Qualifications
- Completed vocational training or relevant professional experience as a machine and plant operator, mechatronics technician, or in a comparable technical field
- Solid technical understanding of machinery operating with steam, cooling water, compressed air, and electricity
- Hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing production equipment
- Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
- Flexibility, team spirit, and strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English
