Macedonian (MKD) Distance Learning Associate Language Instructor

Job Summary
Provide virtual Macedonian language instruction to improve proficiency across Listening, Reading, and Speaking (DLPT/OPI/ILR), deliver instruction on regional culture using modern blended-learning methods, develop lesson plans and materials, assess and tailor lessons to ILR levels 0+–3, review assignments, and maintain a positive virtual learning environment. Collaborate with Site Lead, POI analyst, and Language Instructional Developer to address gaps in student performance and curriculum. Must be a US citizen; remote work with some travel may be required; requires access to necessary hardware and reliable high-speed internet. Desirable experience with online platforms such as CL-150 or Blackboard and a Bachelor's Degree.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Educated native speaker or near-native ability in listening, reading, and speaking with ILR 3/3/3 or equivalent
- Experience in providing foreign language instruction through a virtual environment
- Understanding of cultural, social, and political environment of the foreign language region
- Experience creating blended learning lessons and tailoring materials to customer needs
- Access to Windows computer, webcam, headset with microphone, phone or smart tablet, and high-speed internet
- Experience with online platforms such as CL-150 or Blackboard (desired)
- Bachelor's Degree (desired)
