Job Summary
Mac System Administrator responsible for owning the macOS endpoint platform, managing identity and Google Workspace, and leading technical projects in a fully remote, healthcare-technology environment. Role includes platform ownership of Iru/Kandji, Okta-based IAM, Google Workspace administration, automation with GAM/Apps Script, scripting in Bash/Python/AppleScript, and co-managed partnership with an MSP. Emphasizes documentation, runbooks, HIPAA/SOC 2/HiTrust compliance, on-call rotations, and AI-enabled workflow integration. Expected to drive fleet health, patching, vulnerability response, and upgrade cycles while partnering with security, CISO, and MSP teams.
Required Qualifications
- 4 or more years of hands-on systems administration experience
- macOS-first environment experience
- Scripting in Bash and Python
- Production experience with an enterprise MDM; Iru (formerly Kandji) strongly preferred
- Deep Google Workspace administration experience
- Working knowledge of a modern identity provider with Okta strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of endpoint detection and response (e.g., SentinelOne)
