Job Summary
Relocation Project Manager responsible for planning and executing workplace relocations for groups up to 1,000 people, serving as the primary client contact throughout the relocation process. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets; manage vendor and contractor relationships (bidding, RFPs, proposals, selections); coordinate IT, construction, and furniture installation activities; prepare move communications, floor plans, and CAFM data, and provide on-site support and post-move help desk. Lead project meetings, track financial targets, process invoices, and ensure performance against KPIs and company policies. Strong CAD/CAFM tooling, Excel skills, and ability to interact with executive-level clients are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, architecture, facility management, or related field
- 3-4 years of facility, project, or construction-related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment
- Demonstrated experience planning and managing relocations of large groups (500+ people)
- Proficiency in CAD/CAFM technology with move management modules and facilities management systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and full Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with executive-level clients
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and vendor management processes
- Experience with RFP creation, vendor evaluation, and contract management
- Ability to lead meetings, manage invoicing and financial targets
- Ability to prepare client-specific reporting and move communications
- On-site relocation support and post-move help desk management
- Knowledge of space planning concepts and furniture installation coordination
