Job Summary
Own the Mac-specific virtualization layer powering Namespace's macOS platform. Drive VM lifecycle management, host integration, and the storage/image pipelines to enable fast cloning and snapshotting of Apple Silicon environments. Push the limits of macOS virtualization in the cloud by optimizing scheduling, performance, and density across an ever-growing fleet of VMs. Apply hands-on experience with Virtualization.framework, KVM, QEMU, and related technologies to solve problems and deliver a high-performance developer infrastructure that supports Xcode builds, iOS CI, and graphics workloads.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with virtualization platforms
- Proficiency with Apple Silicon environments
- Familiarity with Virtualization.framework, KVM, QEMU or similar tools
- VM lifecycle management, image pipelines, cloning and snapshotting
- Fleet scheduling and performance optimization for large numbers of VMs
- Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills
- Ability to work across Linux, Windows, and macOS environments
