Job Summary
MAC Cosmetics Artist Freelancer/On-Call responsible for makeup artistry and beauty consultations in-store, providing makeup application, skincare/fragrance/hair consultation as requested, and delivering an inspirational, personalized customer experience. Collaborate with a high-performing team to drive in-store events, maintain visual merchandising standards, and support growth within a prestige beauty environment. Roles may include training opportunities and a competitive remuneration; certification in makeup artistry is desirable but not required, with openness to applicants at amateur levels who can demonstrate strong creative and technical skills. Flexible to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events; experience with retail POS software and the ability to demonstrate right to live and work in the country if invited to interview are required.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry desirable
- Retail makeup experience desirable
- Amateur level experience welcome with demonstration of creative and technical expertise
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview
