Job Summary
Medical Assistant Supervisor leads clinical support staff, oversees daily clinic operations, patient flow, clinical quality measures, staff performance, and customer service standards. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager to supervise and train medical assistants, ensure infection control and regulatory standards are met, support provider productivity (18–21 patients per provider/day), manage staffing schedules and patient communications, assist with clinical care (procedures, injections, patient assessments) as needed, monitor performance metrics, conduct audits, and support quality improvement initiatives. Emphasizes excellent customer service using the AIDET model.
Required Qualifications
- Active MA-C license or LPN license in Washington State
- Minimum 2 years ambulatory care experience
- Supervisory experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days of hire)
