Job Summary
The MA Supervisor at the Federal Way Medical Clinic provides leadership to Medical Assistants and ensures quality patient care. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervising MAs; improving patient flow and clinical operations; ensuring completion of clinical quality measures; providing clinical and administrative supervision to the care team (MAs, care coordinators, externs, phlebotomists); and maintaining adherence to clinical guidelines. The role requires strong leadership and supervisory abilities, experience in ambulatory care, sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. The position is full-time and located in Washington state.
Required Qualifications
- Active MA-C license in the State of Washington or licensure as an LPN in the State of Washington
- CPR certification
- HIV education
- Strong leadership, supervisory and training skills
- Experience in ambulatory care
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required
- Flexibility with clinic hours
- Willingness to take on new projects
- Active participation in staff meetings
