MA/PAR - Urgent Care Mid-City - PRN

Medical Assistant/Patient Assistant (MA/PAR) for Urgent Care in Mid-City, PRN. Provides individualized medical care to patients in person, electronically, and via telephone under supervision of a licensed health care provider. Supports patient and provider throughout visits, assists with room setup, documents patient information, and ensures patient questions are answered prior to leaving. Encourages excellent patient service through effective communication both in person and over the phone. Maintains clinical knowledge, credentials, and understands confidentiality. Must be able to adapt to varying patient populations and maintain privacy and professional communication. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; formal MA training preferred. Proficiency with computers and medical software, and strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
