Job Summary
The role supports clinical and administrative operations across clinics, performing routine medical assistant duties such as collecting clinical data, administering medications and injections, conducting CLIA-waived tests, preparing charts, triaging patients, and coordinating patient flow. It includes patient education, scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and documentation in electronic health records, with responsibility for maintaining stock, lab specimens, and ensuring adherence to protocols. The position may float between clinics in Mount Juliet, TN, and requires collaboration with physicians, providers, and care teams, plus CPR certification and relevant nursing/MA training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Degree, Diploma or Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant training program or accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year prior experience functioning as a Medical Assistant in a clinic/hospital setting (or completion of Medical Assistant training)
- Current CPR certification
- If floating, valid TN Driver’s License and Proof of Auto Insurance
