Job Summary
Medical Assistant for an OBGYN practice in Grove City, OH. Responsibilities include welcoming and rooming patients, taking vitals, reviewing medical history and chief complaints, assisting with in-office procedures, answering in-basket messages, and handling follow-up calls and messages. Requires either a high school diploma/GED with 1-2 years of medical experience or an associate/bachelor's degree in science/health; medical assistant certification/registration is preferred (MCMG only). Current BLS/CPR required. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Relocation assistance is offered. Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED with 1-2 years Medical experience OR Graduate Bachelors or Associates in science/health degree
- Graduate/Completion of a medical assistant program preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registration preferred (MCMG Only)
- Current BLS/CPR, and must maintain current certification
- One to two years medical assisting experience preferred or 2-3 years in lieu of education
