Job Summary
Assist in patient examination and treatment under provider direction, including casting, bracing, and injections. Perform clinical triage, prepare treatment rooms, and conduct phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing. Manage patient flow, document encounters, and relay provider instructions while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. Support front office staff with scheduling, referrals, and non-direct tasks like sterilization and record scanning. Aid in emergency situations and identify methods to improve patient care. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nationally accredited MA program
- EMT certification
- Military medical training and experience
- Current license from the Idaho Board of Nursing (for LPNs and RNs)
- Venipuncture skills
- Previous clinical experience
- Customer service-oriented attitude/behavior
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to use applicable software as required to perform the essential functions of the job
- Proof of immunization (annual Influenza, Hep B, TDaP, MMR, Varicella, and TB)
- Background check
- Drug screening
