Job Summary
Clinical nursing support for Williamson Health Medical Group in a Pulmonary Clinic. Performs clinical office procedures, obtains specimens, assesses patients, coordinates outpatient care, schedules tests/consultations, and maintains supplies. Provides immunizations and injections, counsels patients on health issues, orders medications, triages calls, and assists physicians with med/surg procedures. Trains new staff within WHMG pulmonary and sleep medicine; adheres to universal precautions and coordinates with pharmacies to ensure patients have medications. Must be proficient with glucometer, BP cuff, thermometer, computer, autoclave, stethoscope, audioscope, and appropriate medications; English communication skills required; lifting up to 20 pounds. Position located in Murfreesboro, TN.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- At least one year of experience in medical office environment
