Job Summary
Assist in preparing patients for health care visits, support providers during examinations (including ECGs and heart monitoring), and manage patient records in EMR. Provide patient education on medications and diet, perform minor wound care/dressing changes, and coordinate with multiple departments to optimize patient experience. Maintain HIPAA compliance, participate in staff education, and travel to other clinic locations as needed to support vascular/cardiology care teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Teams) and able to operate standard office equipment; role includes maintaining clinical standards and assisting Nuclear Technicians in Stress Lab procedures as required.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical healthcare experience
- BLS (Must obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Certified Medical Assistant (desired)
- EMR experience
- Ability to travel to other offices as needed
