Job Summary
Boise Pediatrics Clinic MA position focusing on pediatric patient-facing care: performs rooming, collects medical history, takes vitals, administers immunizations, completes point-of-care tests and tasks in the inbox; collaborates 1:1 with a pediatric physician and a care team; requires MA certification within 90 days and BLS; 36 hours/week across 4 nine-hour shifts (Mon-Fri, day hours).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- MA certification within 90 days of hire from one of approved agencies (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, NPCE MA) or completion of MA program with externship or 6 months MA experience in lieu of externship hours
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (AHA/ARC or Military Training Network) at hire
- Obtaining MA certification typically requires completing an MA program or 1 year MA experience
- EMT and CNA certifications do not count towards MA certification
