MA Boise General Surgical Services Clinic Full-Time

General Surgical Services Clinic Medical Assistant sought to support the Medical Director and PA team in a busy General Surgery/Bariatrics setting. Responsibilities include rooming patients, chart preparation, minor procedures assistance, patient follow-up, managing in-basket tasks, referrals, prior authorizations, and cross-training in surgery scheduling to assist as needed. The MA will work with a Surgeon, two Physician Assistants, and a Surgery Scheduler, in a team-oriented environment focused on minimally invasive and robotic surgery across General Surgery, Esophageal Health and Reflux, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Colorectal Surgery and Surgical Oncology. The role does not include lab draws or injections. Schedule is 40 hours/week: Monday–Thursday 7:45am–4:45pm and Friday 7:45am–1:45pm, with outreach clinics on select Fridays at Caldwell, Eagle, and Nampa locations. Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and MA certification within 90 days from hire from approved credentialing agencies; EMT/CNA not counted toward MA certification.
