M365 & Collaboration Engineer

Job Summary
Configure, secure, and optimize Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Teams Voice, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 to ensure reliable global collaboration and messaging security. Govern Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption through licensing, data readiness, and permissions while applying retention, DLP, and information-protection policies aligned with PCI DSS standards. Automate administration using PowerShell and the Microsoft Graph API, acting as the primary escalation point for incidents and problems. Monitor service health and drive continuous improvements in reliability and user experience. This role supports Planet's mission to simplify secure commerce for retail and hospitality partners across 120 markets, with a hybrid model requiring three days in the London office.
Required Qualifications
- Deep hands-on Microsoft 365 engineering - Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive
- Strong Microsoft Teams administration, including Teams Phone / Voice
- Experience administering Slack in an enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (anti-phishing, Safe Links / Attachments, threat response)
- Experience deploying and governing Microsoft 365 Copilot, or strong readiness to
- Understanding of M365 compliance - retention, DLP, and information protection
- Strong scripting with PowerShell and the Microsoft Graph API
- Experience in a regulated, ITIL change-controlled environment
