Job Summary
Finance Analyst role focused on Finance, Accounting, expenses analysis and cost reallocation within the Financial Planning Unit. Responsibilities include actively participating in budgeting for research projects, updating budget figures in ERP (Microsoft Dynamics D365), monthly monitoring and analysis of project expenses (Budget vs Actuals), preparing monthly/quarterly financial reports for finance management, collaborating across organization units to obtain budgeting information, ensuring compliance with international standards, developing reporting templates and KPIs, supporting financial analysis for institutional and research projects, and responding to ad hoc information requests. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least 5 years of relevant experience in NGO/International organization project finance, strong Excel and Power BI skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in English (C1). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Financial, Accounting, Budget, Forecast & G&A Analysis
- Experienced in ERP usage (financial modules), MS Office, and management of large databases
- Experienced in project finance management (project budgeting, implementation, monitoring, financial analysis & reporting) and engaging with senior management levels
- Proven strong analytical skills and the ability to identify project finance opportunities
- Proven advanced Excel & Power BI (Business Intelligence Dashboards) skills
- Ability to work independently, to prioritize and to plan
- Proactive and flexible, able to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to details
- Proficiency in English (C1) , with good written/oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work with different nationalities, under pressure and as a member of diverse work team
- The candidate must exhibit sense of urgency and commitment to responsibilities and deadlines
